Arizona Vape Laws

As of June 2020, Arizona’s government brought in a number of regulations and rules regarding the sale and the use of vapes.

These rules include:

• E-cigarettes are not included in any section of the state’s statutes regarding tobacco products. Instead, the rules are built specifically about e-cigarettes and vapes.
• Vapor products are defined by the state as “a noncombustible tobacco-derived product containing nicotine that employs a mechanical heating element, battery or circuit, regardless of shape or size that can be used to heat a liquid nicotine solution contained in cartridges.”
• There are no special taxes or excise fees for vaping products and there are no regulations or restrictions regarding the packaging—however, Logic E-cigs have FDA approved packaging.
• Sale of the vapor products to and possession of vapor products is prohibited for persons under age 18 is prohibited. As are the use of e-cigarettes, which is prohibited in foster homes and in vehicles when a foster child is present.
