Vaping has been shown to be 95% safer than smoking and produces no harm to passive vapers. Still, vapers should always be respectful to people around them. Being polite to others can help create a positive image of all vapers and provide more amicable grounds to settle vaping debates. So, to help all of us look good, we’ve made a list of a few to things to do and not to do:

Do:

  • Vape in public spaces only where allowed. In most places where vaping is allowed, the vapers should follow the same rules as smokers.
  • Keep your cool during vaping discussions. Sometimes people are misled by false information about vaping. The best you can do is keep a calm and open attitude while providing trustworthy resources to back up your points. Never let anger fog your good arguments.
  • Consider people around you. Even when vaping in places where you are legally allowed, it is always considerate to check if others are okay with it.
  • Keep your e-liquids safe. Store your cartomizers and capsules safely to avoid accidents.

Don’t:

  • Blow vapor on others’ faces. It doesn’t matter if you vape or not, no one likes to stand in the middle of someone else’s vapor clouds.
  • Criticize smokers. Unless you are being asked, don’t judge smokers or preach about vaping. Give them a chance to ask.
  • Vape in closed spaces. Your vapor won’t harm anyone, however, some people might still feel disturbed by the aroma.
  • Stealth vape in places where smoking is not allowed. By stealth vaping, we mean hiding the fact that you are vaping. Be respectful of the law and we will all look good.
