The Eonsmoke Device

The Juul-like device by Eonsmoke comes in three stylish looking colors that caught the eye of passers-by quite often. One onlooker chased me down into an elevator to ask about the device, how it works, and where they can purchase it. During the trial of the pods, we used the Gold device and the Chrome/Silver Eonsmoke device, both of which were stylish and eye-catching. 

Best Eonsmoke Flavor

Ranking from what we’d smoke again to what we’d not be interested in trying again, here are the best Eonsmoke flavors as a result of our test. If you’re not sure where to start, we strongly recommend trying the Juul Compatible multi-pack so that you can work out which flavor best suits you.

Lush Ice

The lush ice Eonsmoke pods are simply delicious. The fresh watermelon and mint combination is one that most regular vapers will be accustomed to—and the Lush Ice Eon Pods do not disappoint. Arguably this flavor provides the best pull and an aftertaste that lingers nicely long after smoking. This flavor felt as though it burned less than other Eon flavors too, which is an added bonus.

Pink Lemonade

As the name might suggest, the Pink Lemonade pods were the sweetest of the flavors but that sweetness was reasonably well balanced with the salt nicotine to make it a pleasant smoking experience. This liquid seemed a little thinner and kicked up some extra juice while taking a draw from time to time but despite that, the flavor remained consistent throughout. The disposable version of this pod (the Eonsmoke Stik) was the most consistent to the pod flavor too if you’re looking for a grab-and-go smoke option while your Eonsmoke device charges. 

Score = 9.5/10

Mango

The mango Eonsmoke pod tasted the most realistic out of all of the flavors that we tried. The flavor had tasted exactly as though we had eaten a mango long after smoking it. The sweet hit was juicy and it’s not difficult to see why it is described as one of the most popular flavors amongst Juul users.

Citrus

The blend of orange and other citrus fruits provided a complex flavor profile long after smoking it. The flavor was consistent across the life of the pod and provided a smooth draw with zero burned flavor. Despite being sweet, the pods also provided a sour hit which made it a pleasant experience to smoke overall. We would bill this as a safe option that will please most.

Cool Mint

This was the most traditional of the Eon flavors and it didn’t disappoint. We can imagine that lovers of menthol cigarettes would find themselves right at home with this flavor. The mint is consistent throughout the smoking experience and is perfectly pleasant, if not a little unoriginal. You can check this menthol starter kit.

Sour Apple

The sour apple Eonsmoke pod provided a great apple-like flavor although it was missing the sour punch that the name had suggested. Despite this minor setback, the flavor profile was great, providing a classic apple flavor and was not overpowering in any way. A well-balanced smoke that is a safe choice for those who are wanting to try Eonsmoke pods for the first time.

Watermelon and Pineapple

We have included the watermelon and pineapple together because the smoking experience of each of these flavors was so similar. The only exception is the Pineapple disposable Eonsmoke Stik, which didn’t provide the smooth smoking experience that the pods provided. The fruity flavors of each of the flavors were on point and without a doubt, both flavors would be on my recurring order list.

Strawberry and Menthol

Both classic flavors that were safe, if not a little unimaginative. These two flavors were the least memorable but would be great options for those taking part in smoking cessation or nicotine reduction programs. The strawberry was a sweet and fruity flavor meanwhile the menthol was a classic mint flavor, both of which provided little surprise. 

Score = 7/10

Cucumber

Arguably the mildest flavor of all Eonsmoke pods, the cucumber flavored Eon pods provide 6 percent salt nicotine without the potential harshness long associated with electronic cigarettes. Unfortunately, the pods developed a leak and might have led to the unfortunate demise of one of the test Eonsmoke devices we were using. The pull from the cucumber pods provides a nice sized cloud although it isn’t so ostentatious as to annoy passersby. 

Score = 6.5/10 (had the pods been leak-free, it would have scored 8/10)

Blueberry and Grape

Out of all the fruity flavors, blueberry and grape flavors were the least like their real-life counterparts. The taste of the smoke was closer to the synthetic sweet flavoring but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t appealing. If you like a Boo Berry-like flavor, you’ll really enjoy both the blueberry and grape Eon pods. 

Score = 6/10

Latte

The latte flavor was akin to a classic coffee taste that took me by surprise upon the first smoke. At first, I wasn’t entirely sure as to whether I liked it but after the first few puffs, it quickly grew on me. In fact, I was a little disappointed that I had run out and quickly reordered the flavor. 

Average Score = 5/10 (although I ended up at a 7/10) 

Tobacco

The only flavor that really didn’t hit the spot for us. In all fairness, we can definitely see this flavor appealing to many, especially to those who prefer more savory flavored e-juices. But, if you prefer fruity or mint-infused flavors, you have plenty of other options available with Eonsmoke Pods.

Although vaping seems to be all the rave in the media lately, interestingly enough the history of e-cigs actually dates back almost 90 years. So, let’s take a look at how this innovative technology became the device we know and love today.

1930: Joseph Robinson was granted a patent for the first documented reference of an electronic cigarette. Though it was never entirely clear if his prototype was actually manufactured.  

1960s: Jumping ahead 30 years, Herbert A. Gilbert was credited with his creation of the first device that closely resembles a modern-day e-cigarette. Having received his patent in 1965, Gilbert created many prototypes, but failed to commercialize his smokeless, non-tobacco cigarette product.

1979-80s: Now, we’ve entered the age of technology where Phil Ray, one of the pioneers of computers, worked alongside physician Norman Jacobson to create the first commercialized variation of an e-cigarette device — although it wasn’t actually electronic.  

1990s: Many patents for nicotine inhalation devices began to surface during this decade, including products that were invented by big tobacco corporations. Although these devices closely resembled our modern-day nicotine delivery technology, they were denied widespread commercialization due to FDA permissions.

2003: The success of the e-cigarette began in this year due to the success of the first commercial electronic cigarette in Beijing, China. Creator, Hon Lik, reportedly created the device for his father, a heavy smoking who was dying of lung cancer.

2006: E-cigs were introduced to the European market. Shortly after, they made their way to the United States.

2008 – 2012: Various countries and states discover their stance on electronic cigarettes and set regulations based on studies.

2013: The first E-Cigarette Summit was held in London in order to provide a platform to present scientific evidence on vaping. It was aimed at helping inform the public about health and policy debates.

2014: The word of the year is vape and many pro-vaping organizations were created, including American Vaping Association (AVA) and Smoke-Free Alternative Trade Association (SFATA), aimed at educating people about the use of vapor products and e-cigarettes to help smokers quit.

How do you change flavor capsules?

The Logic Pro is one of the most convenient vapor systems on the market. Once you notice that your e-liquid capsule is empty, which is visible through the window on the mouthpiece, simply disconnect your battery from the mouthpiece by twisting it counter clockwise. Once the battery has been removed you will be able to slide your used, disposable capsule out of the device. Next, remove the two plastic caps from each end of your new flavor capsule and insert it into the mouthpiece. Now, you’ll be able to screw the device back together. Then you’ll want to press the center button five times. The technology will be activated by this action and should blink blue to indicate that it’s ready to use.

How do you charge the device?

In order to charge your battery, it will need to be removed from the mouthpiece — this can be done by twisting it counter clockwise. The battery can then be screwed into the USB charger, which can be plugged into your computer (while its on), using one of the USB ports. The light on the charger will remain red while it’s charging, approximately 3-5 hours, and will flip to green when it has full battery power. You will then be able to twist the battery off of the charger and back onto your device to begin vaping. Remember to click the center button five times to activate the battery.
